JavaScript Job: Backend Developer Laravel - PHP

Hello, we are Swiss Connect Academy Deutschland GmbH. We are a EdTech Company with a small team in Germany with a great vision and mission. Two months ago, our two companies Swiss Connect Academy AG from Switzerland and the ValCom GmbH from Germany joined forces and founded Swiss Connect Academy Deutschland GmbH. Together we are solving companies' re- and upskilling challenges with targeted and personalized learning paths for hard and soft skills. Now we want to expand our team in Germany and are looking for a creative highly motivated Laravel developer, who is interested in shaping and designing an Edutech saas software from the beginning.

Our application is split into separate backend and frontend projects. The backend runs with the latest Laravel version and the frontend with Vue. The projects communicate via rest api. Your tasks would be to extend/improve the current code base and develop new features. We try to strike a good balance between further developing the software and stabilizing existing features, without losing sight of the overriding product and business goals. Recommended:

• Some years of experience with modern PHP (OOP)
• At least some experience with Laravel

Optional:

• Optional: Experience with modern JavaScript Frontend-Frameworks (ideally Vue, but not a must)
• Working with Json API
• Knowledge of SOLID-Design principles & Clean Code
• Server admin / cloud structure experiences
